  • Create a community based drive for change, to help Africa thrive, not just survive. Create a flexible brand identity system that moves away from traditional NGO styles, towards a more modern and culturally uplifting look and feel.

Design for good. An NGO initiative, bringing awareness to NTD’s in Africa, working in unison with GOL and The Endfund. It was important to emphasise the positivity in the design, the hopeful nature, and associations to the word ‘thrive’. To move away from traditional NGO styles towards a more uplifting, inclusive, community-based drive for change.

A design system inspired by the shapes and forms of Aida Muluneh’s artwork. It thrives on graphic interpretations of connectivity and diversity in arts, culture, data and scientific studies. We emphasise quantity and diversity through the use of multiple patterns and colours across our visuals. It creates a sense of togetherness, and brings awareness and intrigue to NTD’s that aren’t easy to express in a non-invasive visual way.

The visual identity system allows us to constantly evolve and let our look and feel flourish, adapt and thrive. Designs are driven by real stories, honest imagery and scientific facts. Everything is looked at under a lens from a micro and macro point of view. This approach keeps visuals honest and bespoke. Any story and NTD can be interpreted graphically using simplified geometric shapes that are relevant to the message and story being shared. This creates a visual canvas stitched together by truth, arts and culture and science.
